★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Cool dudes and great service! Went in there just to get a copy of my mailbox key, and it was under $5 compared to the $7.50 I paid at the minute key thing at Walmart, when I needed extra copies of my house key. Will definitely be going to them when I need any copies made, or anything else.
September 03 · Bethany GunnCalled after hours on purpose to see how much it would be to make a copy of a set of keys I needed by that evening for an old car. Proceeded to get 3 mins of attitude about being an after hours call. I knew that. I called knowing that and I needed a set of keys by 10PM as I’m shipping the car out on a hauler. Best way to tell someone who calls needing your service that you’re not interested for sure. I would have paid twice what the person with that attitude quoted but he assumed the cost would get me to go somewhere else and I am. Not for the price but for the service. Who the hell wants to continue and deal with people like this. I called literally for the service you’re selling.
July 22 · WPN NewtonI called Jimmies Lock Shop Inc. last Monday to unlock my van after my kids had locked the keys in. When the technician arrived he was very helpful and got my van open. No problem. When it was time to pay I gave them my card and I noticed their hands were shaking terribly. Being a nurse that really stuck out to me and he gave my card back and that was it. It was later I realized I didn’t get a receipt and I thought maybe it’ll be texted or emailed because that’s how it usually is. I called a few days later and they said I had to come to the store to get a receipt. So today I go in the store. There’s an older man on the phone and a woman sitting in a chair and I assumed she had been helped. The guy on the phone waved at another employee and he came to the counter towards me and as I started to speak the man on the phone said, “No she’s first.” I said oh sorry I thought she had been helped and the other employee apologized and said he hadn’t seen her there. So I waited for them to finish and then the employee came back to me and I explained he hadn’t seen come to my house last week to unlock my van and I just needed a receipt. He said ok no problem and started writing it out. Then the man who was on the phone came over and said they needed my license, insurance, and registration. The employee was confused as was I because I had never been asked for all that information before when I’ve needed my keys out. The man who was on the phone because VERY hostile and defensive while I was providing my license and lltrying to get my insurance information pulled up on my phone. At one point he literally ripped the receipt from the clipboard the other employee was writing and threw it saying “if you’re not going to cooperate neither will we.” I said I’m getting the information I just had never had to before. Then he kept asking if it was a locksmith or a tow company I’d used before. I said I don’t know I’ve had to call more than once in my life. Then he was yelling that locksmiths have to have the insurance information and tow companies don’t. Ok, that’s good to know I’m getting the insurance card. But he would not stop. The nicer employee just walked to the back and left me with the older man who was yelling. He even said, “Don’t worry I already know you’re going to leave a shitty review on Google.” Kept insisting he wasn’t going to give me my receipt. I told him he absolutely was because I paid for a service. Then she said it was my fault because I didn’t ask for a receipt. I told him most businessss ask if the customer would LIKE a receipt. He told me I was on 10 since I walked in because I needed to come get my receipt. I am still just baffled as to what happened. I’m not sure why this person was so irate and hostile but I hope they can learn to handle their emotions better for the future. And the other employee I don’t know how they handle such a hostile workplace but I hope they don’t have to tolerate that.
September 22 · Tyrena Denney** DO NOT GO HERE **Very rude and stupid people at this place. They worked for an hour on programming the key and were not successful. Still demanding to pay for the service. He took my key with him which he refused to give unless i pay and that key is not gonna work. Very strange and unprofessional. Surprisingly, while i was there another dude came in shouting and screaming to return his stuff too. I see same thing he demanded service fee even though he didn’t fix anything. Them guys need to be out of business.
July 02 · Afroze AbdulGreat service & price to get a van key. Ordered it one day and it came in the next day. He also cut the key in case the fob didn’t work in the future. Great experience. Michele
